This practice participates in the nGMS contract scheme and provides a full range of chronic disease management measures. These are provided by the doctors, practice nurses, health visitors and community midwives. Please contact the receptionists who will advise you about the correct appointment.

CLINIC BUCKINGHAM TERRACE
Childhood Immunisation 9.00am - 12 noon, 1st Tuesday of the month
Health Visitor Baby Clinic Clinics are held are Maryhill Health Centre every Tuesday 13:30 - 15:00 or every Wednesday at Woodside Health Centre 13:00 - 15:00.
6 weeks check Your Health Visitor (tel 531 9234) will visit you at home and advise you about the arrangements for the GP appointment.
Midwife If you are pregnant you don't need to wait and see us at the practice. Simply contact 0141 2324005, and you will be given a date and time for a booking appointment with a midwife and subsequent scan appointments.
Wart Clinic Currently not available
Smoking Cessation Clinic Please see your GP/Local Pharmacist, or contact 2322110 for local clinics or text QUIT to 60002.
Diabetes Please contact the practice.

Physiotherapy

You can self refer to physiotherapy service by clicking here to download the form. Once completed please post it to the relevant address shown on the form.

Family Planning Services

All the doctors and practice nurses are fully qualified in family planning. We offer a range of services and appointments can be made in normal surgery hours.

Cervical Smears

Women between the ages of 20 and 60 are invited by letter for a cervical smear test three-yearly as part of the national screening programme. The test is normally performed by the practice nurses.

Private Medical Examinations

Medical examinations for special purposes such as pre-employment, fitness to travel, elderly drivers, fitness to undertake sports etc will be provided by special appointment. There will be a charge for this service, so please ask the receptionist beforehand.
