Consultations are made by appointment and this can be arranged either in person or by telephoning 211 6210 between 8.30am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday or online, please see below. Each day, emergency appointments are available for problems which you feel cannot wait until the next routine appointment. If you are seeking an emergency appointment, please make that clear to the receptionist. Such cases will be seen by whichever doctor is available - this may not be the doctor you normally see. Also available each day are some routine appointments that can be booked on the day.
We consider requests for sickness certificates or certificates of absence for college or university, as non urgent/ emergency matter. These will only be dealt with at the next routine appointment and will be dated as appropriate.
You are welcome to consult any doctor in the practice. If, however, you have a preference for a particular doctor, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your requirements. Please remember that it may not always be possible to see your preferred doctor or nurse. If you are consulting more than once about an ongoing problem or illness, please make sure you follow this through with the same doctor whenever possible. You may leave a message for a doctor at reception.
We are pleased to offer you the opportunity of managing your appointment day or night on line. This new service will allow you to book “routine GP appointments” up to 4 weeks in advance. In addition you can also view and cancel your appointments.
This service is available 24 hours a day and if you have a smart phone you can download a free app called “patient access”.
