West Glasgow Minor Injury Unit Posted on 19 Jan 2016

West Glasgow Minor Injury Unit is located at the West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital. (The old Yorkhill Children Hospital – Dalnair Street – Yorkhill G3 8SJ)

The unit treats adults and children aged five and over for a range of minor injuries such as cuts, stitches, broken bones, sprains and minor burns. The unit is open all year round from 9am to 9pm seven days a week.

Outside these hours you should attend the nearest A&E unit. This would be the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital ( The old Southern General)

Children under age of 5 with a minor injury should be taken to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. This is located in the grounds of the new Queen Elizabeth Hopspital. (The old Southern General)
